South Bohemian Fishing Festival

The main attraction of the South Bohemian Fishing Festival is usually the harvesting of Hluboká's ponds - Bezdrev or Munický pond. At the festival, visitors can taste fish specialties, see an exhibition of ornamental fish and demonstrations of traditional crafts, visit the beer tent and walk around the market. For children, various attractions and competitions are prepared. Of course, you can also buy fish. A rich cultural program including all-day music is also part of the festival. The festival is held at the end of October.

MAS (a local action group for the Hluboká and Lišov regions) supports development projects, such as care for the cultural and economic development, development of sustainable forms of tourism, European cooperation projects, the promotion of small and medium sized enterprises.
